Bully Show
Take a
Stand: No one will be mistreated in our community!
Overview
The Mediation Center in Boulder, Colorado asserts that typically a school
population will have about 7% bullies and 7% targets (victims).
The “Bully Show” has tactics for targets (victims) and bullies
to cast off their roles. This performance is especially for the other
86% of the students (by-standers) who are in the classroom, cafeteria,
hallways, bathrooms, and buses with the bullies and their targets.
The “Bully Show” empowers this 86% working with teachers to
create and insist on a peaceful community of mutual respect. The program
includes a blueprint for the Bully Workshop for the classroom. The Bully
Show & Workshop encourages students and teachers to take a stand that:
NO ONE WILL BE MISTREATED IN OUR COMMUNITY AND EVERYONE HAS A PLACE OF
HONOR.
